While 150 mg/day would be given to patient having vaginal candidiasis ,to patients having more severe infection would need more than 600 mg of dose per day. Patients having Diflucan (Fluconazole) could suffer from nausea, dizziness, and vomiting, unpleasant taste in mouth, skin allergies and rashes. The other severe problems may include blistering of skin, seizures, fever, flu symptoms, and loss of appetite, dark urine and easy bruising. Patients may also contract jaundice while using this medication. If the problem continues then the doctor should be consulted immediately.

Diflucan (Fluconazole) should be taken with caution by the patients that are taking some kind of sedatives or using drugs like phneytoin, coumarin, cisapride, cysclosporine, short acting benzodiazepines, terfenadine etc.
