How to use
Always consult your doctor before starting with this medication. This drug for treating ADHD can be taken on empty stomach and also with food. Doctors usually prescribe this medication to be taken as a single dose of divide it into two equal doses to be taken in morning and evening. The dosage depends upon your age and weight and usually for patients below 70kgs .5mg/kg is prescribed for the patients.
Side Effects
The side effetcs are stomach upset, vomiting, nausea, constipation, dizziness, trouble sleeping, and frequent mood swings.
Drug Interaction
Straterra (Atomoxetine) should not be taken with MAO inhibitors like linezolid phenelzine etc as it can cause fatal reactions. This drug for treating ADHD should also not be taken if you are on asthma.

Have low or high blood pressure and are on medication. Also if you have had a stroke or previous history or palpitation or irregular heart beat
Kidney or liver diseases
Have any psychological problem like mania bipolar disorder depression or get suicidal thoughts
Atomoxetine is not recommended for pregnant ladies and feeding mothers.
